The train transformer will work if it is capable of putting out the requried amps, with my dimmable mains transformer I can use a 40" bow, which is big.
On the subject of big electric planes, its off the thread a long way, so we may need to put this somewhere else, where do you suggest?
But the biggest piece of advise I can give you is the absolute requirement in an aircraft such as the Cap for a seperate BEC unit if you wish to use the flight batteries, the servo's will overheat the ESC with the power required. I could go into more detail but this is the wrong thread as we know.
