RE: Bob Palmer Passed Away
Sorry to hear about Bob. He gave us some beautiful airplanes. I'd forgotten his name until I saw this thread. I built a Smoothie in 1959, when my dad was playing winter baseball in Havana,Cuba. I never flew it. I was 13, not a very good builder and never learned to fly CL stunt. I just loved that beautiful wing and the mysterious-looking cockpit. Much more beautiful, I thought, than a Nobler.
I'd love to build one now, anybody know where I might find an old kit or plans?
