Hi Breakaz54z, I'm not an expert on r/c airplanes and helicopters when it comes to flying but I've built and flown a few. Honestly I've crashed a couple of planes because I thought I don't need an instructor. You need some one to guide you in the initial phase of flying but once you've learned take-offs and landings, the rest is easy. I have a site which might be helpful.
