They have good marketing.
They use Sanyo cells.
Honestly, maybe, in the past they were
better but IMO, they just aren't worth
the 2+x price premium.
In a recent Model Av. rag issue, I think
they ran real tests and suprise, the
packs really didn't perform any better
than others.
