Default RE: Saito 125 RPM numbers

I love saito's, and have owned a 30, 50, 56's, a couple 91's & 100's and a 300t and really think they are a work of art, but I think the YS 1.10 will still spank it badly. That extra 800-900 rpms translates to quite a bit more HP. How it unloads in the air is what matters and a YS will pull extremely hard in the air. That alone will more than make up for the extra weight. The YS 1.10 is a closer match with saito 1.50. The YS will have a better idle, transision, and topend with the ability to put the tank on the cg and no worries of going lean with attitude changes. Sure the YS is a little more difficult to tune. It took me all of 5 minutes to set up the needles. I think trying to compare these two engines is like comparing a Corvette to a Ferrari, they both can do similar performance numbers, but not equal. YS is still dominating pattern, Have yet to see a Saito in there[sm=crying.gif]
