Looking at the specs of this model, I would say you would be better off going for a .90 size 4-stroke. Either our RCV91CD or RCV90SP would be perfect.
In terms of speed and rate climb, both should have ample power to pull a 9lb model around the sky. If you are looking to do aerobatics then I would recommend the CD series as has higher rpm at the prop. If you are looking for scale, the RCV90SP would be perfect.
