One ways and solid axles aren't the same, solid is just that, a one way has a one way roller bearing in which lets the car freewheel under braking

You can get the same effect as a solid by locking a diff but the idea of solid axles is to have constant equal power to all 4 wheels all the time - even if only 2 tyres touch the ground
