Finally got to maiden mine today. First fly was a bit exciting since it was a bit tail heavy. It was also a bit windy to landings weren't exactly easy. The plane flies great but landing on a bumpy grass field is a challenge. It doesn't require there to be much forward momentum to make it tip the nose on the landing.

Harrier land! The edge does it so well. That way you can land on anything

Anyone have a spare canopy for the orange Edge that I can buy? I had a brain fart tonight and warped mine getting wrinkles out of the fuse. 3DHS is moving their warehouse so I can't order a replacement.

contact www.adchobbystore.com and ask rob if he has any instock. He got a big shipment of spare parts in and is getting another so that 3dhs customers will have parts avalible to them while the move is happening

Thanks, I'll give them a call. Their website says they are on backorder so hopefully they are already in transit.

Woke up early, for me anyway, and was at the airfield by 8 this morning. There was maybe 1-2 mph wind gusts, completely blue skies, and only mid-seventies. I think this was just about the most perfect flying day I have had in the 3 yrs I've been doing this. I flew my Revolver 70 and the 3DHS Edge 540 this morning. The Edge 540 will now knife edge with only rudder\throttle inputs...no hands on the second stick! I'm also now getting close to 6 minutes of flight time from my 1600mAh packs. I'm spending more time at mid-throttle since I've been trimming out for KE. I've never done 3D but this plane really seems to want to do it. Definitely having a blast with it.

I too have the little Edge. My current set-up is a hacker A30/28 with a pentium 40 amp esc and mg 90's from value hobbies.
Now at 1st my motor would squeal so I changed timing and reduced the prop to an APC 11/5.5. and even then It would give a squeal on sudden throttle up.
The one night while playing with it I got it hot, I don't think it was super hot though I did get a wiff of the winding getting hot. I let sit overnight and ever since then I've not gotten a squeal one out of her.
This is a blast to fly and she can get you in trouble. I've lost control of her several times but have been able to recover with lots of power.
The thing I love about this plane is it's landing gear.
