Electrifly E-Performance series Reactor or Yak-54?
Well I'm finally about to retire my old U-Can-Do 3D EP. Now I need a new airframe. This time I want one with LG. Can the E-Performance models take off from grass? I like the Yak-54 and the Reactor but I really like the Extra 330S but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where it is?
Thanks,
Andrew

Just get the reactor. You won't be sorry.I have 20 planes includeing Extra, 2 Revolvers and Reactor is my favorite.

You won't find the Extra 330 because they don't make it any more. I have heard good things about the Reactor and will likely try one myself soon. The only negative is that they are much harder to build. You will do a lot of epoxy work on the Reactor, including the wing attachment and the motor box. You must take your time and get all of this perfectly straight or you won't have a good flying plane. It just happens that I did build the Extra 330, which is why I can tell you that! The newer Electrifly planes, like the Edge 540 and Sukhoi, have plug-in wings and pre-fab motor boxes. I don't think they have made those changes on the Reactor yet though, unless you're talking the Reactor Bipe. I personally don't mind the extra work myself because I enjoy building.

I decided on a E-Flite Carbon-Z Yak 54. It only took about 1 hour to build and it is very powerful. Screw on and snap on for everything!
