Default Sebart su29 140e 3d monster

Hi guys,

I recently order a Su29 140e 3d monster ( which i haven't received yet ) and i'am trying to deside my set up.
Sebart suggests the hacker motor which is very expensive for my budget.
My question is if i can install a 63mm diameter motor on the firewall?
What set up you propose, 63x60 motor, 230Kv motor running with 8s 4000 mAmps lippo and with 22x10 prop. or 63x60 motor with 350kv motor running with 6s 4000 mAmps and 20x10 prop.

Sebart propose the Hacker C50-11XL which gives after the redaction gear 227kv running with 8s 4000 mAmps and 20x12 prop.

I wish if some body have made one of these set ups to help me out on this.

How much static thrust do i need ? I believe that i need about 8kg which is 155 % of the flying weight.

Good mentioning is that am flying in Greece with an average wind speed of 6-10 M/h.

Thanks in advance.

Alexandros.

Hi everybody,

I finally have found the set up concerning my Sukhoi 3d monster.

Yes , there is a second option except the Sebastiano's proposition.

Motor: AXI 5325/20 280Kv
ESC : Jeti 77 advance opto plus
SBeck: Jeti 42-6 V
Servos:4x SA 1256 (20kgr) Savox
Prop: Xoar 22x8 - Xoar 21x10 - Apc 20x10
Lippo:8s 4000mAp 30C Turnigy

Final weight : 4,8 κιλα.

Static results on 8s :

Prop :APC 20x10e
Volts=30
Amps=65
Watts=2000
Thrust=7.73 kg

XOAR 22x8
Volts=29
Amps=70
Watts=2150
Thrust=9.2kg

Xoar 21x10
Volts=30
Amps=77
Watts=2250
Thrust=9kg

I have tried all the above props and i desided that for exteme 3d flying the Xoar 22x8 is the best choice. The negative with 22x8 is that the speed for Freestyle flying is Low .
For my style of flying which is closer to freestyle the Xoar 21x10 is the best choise.
The Wing rock of this plane specialy on High Alpha is something that was solved totaly with the installation of the SFGs.

After my yasterdays flying i came to the conclusion that Sukhoi is an amazing plane ,very stable even with Aft CG (195mm instead of 170mm) and Light 4.8Kg.

Flying time of 6.5minutes with 80% of battery consumption.
