Tim, is it hard at all to make the kit from your plans? I also want to ask how the brushless Razor works compared to the cheap GWS brushless.

Takes most people a couple or five hours to make one. You MIGHT finish the wing by this time next year. Man, Josh G has one..hit him up!! Bender, RysiuM, they are JAMMING on foamies. Lots of action up your way...get off the internet and get you one flying!!

Just kidding with ya Shorty...these things are just too much fun. They really do fly great...it's not like flying a Firebird and calling it RC, these things are the real deal.

Hey Shortstuff, Just be at our feild on the 30th of Nov. for the" Toys for tots" and we will see that you get to try out some *****en foam stuff. Heck! by the end of the weekend you'll change your name to FOAMMAN or something. Steve, listen carefully.... RAZORS RULE!!! ok? clear enough? The difference is like this... Picture this, You race your Q-500 with a magnum 36 and one day some dude lends you a Nelson Q-500 motor... Understand now? Just come out and fly one of my 5 Razors and you tell me. Later on....... Hey Av8er Tim,

I'm in Winfield & work in Wichita. I've pretty much decided that my next plane will be a 3D plane. Any chance that I could see one of yours fly? Where do you do your flying?

Thanks alot,
Brad

What are some other brushless set-ups that people are using? Are any of the HIMAX motors good compared to the Razor 350? If so which one? The bipe will be my first electric and I would rather spend a little more if it would make me much happier with the performance/longevity. I plan on using li-po's with it too. I was wondering with the bipe if it would be better to use a 81 on the ailerons for the added torque.

Blue Skies!!!

From what I've seen, the 81 isnt necessary. The 55 works just fine. The club member flying it does torque rolls and hovers and basically flys in a box that is right in front of him. He did pull-pull on elevator and rudder, torque rods for ailerons and linkages that connected the lower ailerons to the upper ailerons. Its a wild and woolly little electric. Dont recall right off the top of my head what he is using power wise.

Looked like light fishing line to me. Just pulled taunt and CA'ed. The aileron control horns are described in the plans. They seem to be holding up fine. Saw it fly again yesterday evening.
