550 is the standard wind one (who no one uses
) 550E is higher wind sutable for 10-11" and 3x700Etec or 350SHD
550R lower wind, hotter motor, I fly mine useing 2x1200E and 11x4,7. about the same performance as 550E on 3cells. a bit lighter too. I like it for indoor flying
