Default Pigi 3D or Cobra

I'm trying decide between the Pigi 3D, the Cobra, and the Eagle from Hobby Lobby. It looks to me like they are pretty much the same, just that the Pigi is bigger. Does anyone know how these two planes perform in wind?

Hi Lynn,

The general rule of thumb for flying in wind is "bigger is better".

Obviously there are exceptions but when using similar 3D models like in your example, the Pigi 3D works best.

Additionally, I have all 3 models and the general rule seems to apply here.

Good luck!

Thanks Greg, I think I'll go with the Pigi. I already have a PJS 800E motor that I'm going to try on it. I know they recommend the 1000's, but they are hard to come by. I hope th 800 will give me acceptable performance since the 1000 seems to provide more than enough power.

As a matter of fact the 800E with the appropriate Kokams (4cell 1500) should be stronger than a 100. Let us know what kind of power get!!!!
