Electric Endurance?
I'm currently in the middle of converting a Guillows Cessna to electric RC, but I'm finding out that electric flight usually doesn't last much longer than 10 minutes per flight!
Im going to try keeping the weight under 12 oz.
Does anyone have suggestions for an electric setup that will allow a longer duration of flight?

RE: Electric Endurance?
My 13 ounce 3dx with a himax motor and etec 11.1v 1200ma lipo battery will go for 20 minutes with no problem. Only on WOT very rarely though. Mostly hovers and spins at this time length. Lipo's are the only way!!!!!!!! Chris

RE: Electric Endurance?
Thanks for the replies.
Do either of you use gears to improve efficiency, or does that just slow the RPM's too much to still have fun?
