You ought to check the 1/2A Forum as there have been threads there about this exact thing.

i just finished converting to a 15 glo os la engine. i stripped the covering on fuse added 1/16 balsa to sides and bottom, converted servo space to the size of hitec hs-81 from 55,added 1/8 ply firwall 4oz. sq.fuel tank. it even has room for hs81 for throttle in samecompartment, hitec 555 rec. 250mah. pack and it balances right on the money! have'nt weighed it yet but its still real light, also when i modified servo mounts for ailerons i replaced the wing tube with a 3/4 length of span carbonfiber one and new aluminum landing gear. maiden flight when i return home, i 2 weeks, if it survives pic's to go with it,
