This is a very nice light kit. I will be using Futaba S3110 servos all around, a Hacker 30-28 motor with a X-30 speed controller and Thunder Power 2100. The plane should have plenty of power.

First I took everything out of the box and made sure all parts were included and looked over the instructions. Thats it for now.

The first 2 pictures are of the wheel and wheel pant installation. You drill the correct size hole for the bolt and mount it to the gear. I used 2 nuts on the bolt to get the spacing correct from the wheel pant. See the picture. Make sure you use lock tight on the 2 nuts. I drilled a hole on one side of the wheel pant in order to get to the bolt with a screw driver. On the other side of the wheel pant, I cut a slot so the pant can slide down on to the axel bolt. Next I rotated the wheel pant so it was lined up with the fuse and drilled a hole through the gear and pant. I then screwed the screw through the gear and wheel pant to hold in place. Next you mount the gear to the fuse with 3 screws. Thats it for now.

You guys are gearing for big power, nice! Awat is runnning a Hacker A30, and you an AXI 2808/24. Both are BIG for a 20-21 oz plane. You wll love the vertical!

I'm running a light setup to start off: AXI 2212/20, Phx 25 on a 3S 1500 mAH 12C. It flies incredibly well, but it's a little weak pulling out of a hover. I have a 2808/24, probably put that in the Fliton Extra .

The label says it should weigh in at 9.8 oz's without additional gear. Mine was over 12 oz's out of the box. Can you guys weigh yours and report?

If yours is like mine and one other we saw measured, then you should expect your big-power setups to go ~23 oz's or so finished. The advertising is a bit deceptive... shame on Fliton.

Here are a few more pictures of my build. The wings slide in the wing slots and get epoxied. this is a very easy plane to build and looks great.

In order to install the stab, I had to cut the covering over the stab slot in the fuse. When that was done, I installed the stab. Make sure you have it centered. Mark the sides where the stab meets the fuse. Use a fresh razor blade and cut on the inside of your marks. Be carful not to score the wood. If you do you will weaken the structure and it could break in flight. Next I clued the stab in with thin CA then thick CA.
