Default Your all out favorite 3Der?

I'm curious, what is probably the most popular electric among 3Ders. Let's just let this go under way and find out.

Me having little to NO experience with 3D, I would say the RCX Illusion, considering it's the only plane I've truly read about/ seen videos of.[&:] So don't base my lifetime experience on the Illusion. Let's just say that I don't have a favorite...yet.

I love my Animal...and nothing spins that fast....

the Nikitas Rebel may be my new favorite though... doesn't spin as fast (nothing does) but it flies really nice and light....

my favorite is the ikarus extreme 330 (my first and gone thru 3) and now is the quique yak because of its solidness. been in the sport of electrics only but a year so my opinion is only what i am used to, like flyingace. still lots of planes to fly.

I like the RCU bipe. It's not super light and can handle the wind. If you are looking to fly outside, I would highly recommend it.

I like the rcxplanes Illusion but I like their new bipe, the Sierra the best. It hasn't been released yet, but the prototype that I've been flying is great. If I had to rate my favorites it would be the rcxplanes Sierra, Allure, Illusion, Dave Patrick Ultimate, Fancy Foam Yak.

I have not flown the Illusion yet but would like to just because of how much you guys like it. I have owned every shockflyer except the Nemesis and I have had more than one of each. I used to really like the old styles (Edge superstar Extra) until I moved on to the new F3A and Yak I used the F3A for pattern and the Yak with counterbalances for 3D (my first Yaks did not have counterbalances and did not roll near fast enough) . Sense then I have moved on to the Animal but I still use the F3A for pattern. The animal has an amazing roll rate and has allot of authority in every maneuver much more than the Yak. Using Futaba 3110 servos it is the fastest responding 3d foamy I have ever had definitely beats the Yak and old shockys. As far as smooth flying with the Animal it is still possible and does it surprisingly well but you have to be moving a little quicker than you do with it something like the F3A. I will be using the Animal in these years EX games in Toledo and I may also be using it in the ETOC.

Here is a video of my Edge shocky up at the Hobby-show international shoot out held in Toronto Canada

BTW If you like the full fuse look better I would recommend the Edge 540 from hobby-lobby. We all flew these in the final round at the Extreme Freestyle Championships in Memphis TN 2 weekends ago It flew very well. O yea and they were already put together for us and the motor blew off the front end of mine with a few seconds left of my flight.

I think that if I flew like that, my motor would fall off too . Very nice flying!
