Get yourself a 6 channel computer radio. Dual rates and expo are very helpful.

The Blade CX Tx is just a plain vanilla 4 channel. It does not have the CCPM configuration like the Blade CP. Yes you can use it with a flatout but you will be missing some of the neat things you can do with a computer Tx. Not to worry, keep the throws low when you start and work up from there. If you need 2 aileron servos use a Y cable. The flight pack you mentioned should work fine if you order the correct short crystal. Those of us who have been around for awhile learned to fly without benefit of computer tx's.

you should get this :

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0161p?&I=LZ1825

You'll get BL motor, BL-8 ESC, charger, battery etc..
Did your Blade charger charge nimh-nicad batteries or lipos? if it charged lipos than find out, would it charge a 3 cell lipo.

The BCX charger cannot even adequately charge the pack it came with and will not charge a 3S li-po or a 2S other than 800mah.

Nope. A Ni-Mh charger can't charge a Lipo battery without blowing it up.

your charger can only charge the battery that the blade comes with, a 2 cell 800. so just use your battery that came with your blade. its a 2 cell so your not gonna have as much power as a 3 cell, but your plane will come out pretty light.
