Default Wing tube on Katana MD too long?

Did anybody else have to cut off the carbon fiber wing tube for their Katana MD to make the wings snug up?? Mine looks to be at least 2 inches too long or am I missing something here?

Bro:

You can see the tube from the bottom of the wing. Tube should terminate at the rib the servo mount is braced from, about 16-1/2", end to end. Too buzzy to take apart, let me know if you cant make this work out, and I will remove the tube and mearsure if needed. ENJOY

Finally figured it out-was so tight I thought it was bottoming out at the rib like you say but it just wouldn't go any further. Yeah-alittle over 16" is right. Had to sand on my tube a fair amount with 220 and now it will go all the way in-still pretty tight but I doubt if I'll be taking it apart anyway. Sorry about the stupid question
