Designing My Own
I have gone electric with a helicopter - the T-Rex 450 - but want to get an electric plane to play around in the yard.
I was Googling RCFoam designs (actually the LHS guy was) and came across a design fromhttp://rcfoam.com/cart.php?page=plans. I was looking at the Yak at the bottom. I could of course alter the ailerons and tail to make it what I want. It prints out regularly and then you match up the papers and just build from there. The 3mm foam isn't that expensive for 2 sheets.
I looked at the E-Flite 300 motor with some Hitec HS-55 servos, a 20 amp speed controller and then of course reciever and like a 800mah LiPo.
Only thing is, are they harder to design myself. I don't have a large building table and could get the foam, but what would be best to design my own plane. I would like to but don't have CAD (even thoughI know I don't need it). Can something be done in PhotoShop?
Any help would be appreciated!

Lots of fine choices there. Just one thing I wish to comment on. You state wish to play around with in yard. Hope you have a large yard; these are small and light but still a dangerous missle. Please take heed.
