is this 2 cell 1500mah battery any good for a 3dx running a gws 350c motor in 'd' gearbox?

yes, it will be fine, but kokams 1500s are a little heavier than TP 1320 which will work as well. On the 3dx Id like to suggest going brushless so you could use 3s lipos which will make the 3dx easier to hover with plenty of power for pullouts. That shop you have the link for sells the himax 2015-4100 which would be ideal

i am only 12 so i can not afford to go brushless yet and singahobby doesn't have the 1200's in and someone else ssaid the 1500's would be OK.
