The planes going to wiegh 16 oz. They recomend aFM-C300 BB Motor With a 15-Amp. speed control. If i use a li-po battery do i need special speed conttroler?

RE: flubber

i have a brushless on mine, but i have like a 25 amp speed controller on mine that one of my friends recommended. Using a li-po doesn't require a special speed controller.

RE: flubber /Lipo ESC

You are correct you are not required to have a special ESC for Li-Pos but it is nice to have one with a programmable voltage cutoff so you will not drain your cells down to low and kill them. The Phoenix 10 and Phoenix 25 have this ability and you can even program them on your PC with the new Phoenix link USP cable.
