Berg 5 on Tensor Question
 

I just picked up a Berg 5 Reciever and now realize that I have the one with Pins Up VS Pins Out, IE the one I have has the pins stick up from the case vs sticking out from the side. It will be used on the Tensor 4D and Shockflyer/Chuckflyer's

By looking at it, would it be better to have Pins Out the side to have a smaller profile with the servo connecters parrellel to the fusealoge?

1, Will it be OK to use the Pins up or will it be too high a profile with the servo leads sticking out?

My LHS only had the one:'(

Another Question the LHS also put a JR Crystal in it and at home I check the RC-Direct website and it says to only use Berg Crystals.

2, Will the JR crystal be OK to use?

Use what you have I say, or at least test it and see if it works for you.

Your reciever will be fine. Not sure about the crystals though.

I have a GWS reciever in my Tensor that is Pins Up. Dont worry about the plugs and wires sticking out. It wont affect how the plane flys. Works fine.

I dont know about your crystal thing though.
