What whuld be the best 3D profile to fly in small places.
I'm looking for one that comes with every thing you need to get it in the air.
I was looking at the Fancy Foam planes.

Check out the Slick. 27" wingspan. I think Randy sells everything you need.
He is great to deal with.

I'd bet most of the small foamies fly very well in a small area if they are kept lite. I can very easily fly my Eflite Ultimate in about a 50x50’ area, less than 25x25’ starts to get tough. I have even flown into my 2 car garage turned around and landed in the middle of it. Course that was flying a harrier to do that, but it can be done. You’ll need lots of power to fly in a small area though or be very very good at flying. When my Ultimate was flying on the stock brushed motor I could not fly in as small area with ease.

Lite is might for maneuvering in small areas :D

My latest SLICK tips the scale at a mere 4.7 ounces flying weight, equipped with the new 4-gram Bluebird servos, GWS R4P receiver, Phoneix-10 ESC, CDR motor, and 450-2S lipoly. Check out the SLICK LITE package on our [link=http://www.m-a-e.com/Sub%20Pages/Products/SLICK%20Kits.htm]website[/link].

Foamaholic - thanks for the "plug" [8D]

How do the slicks take a crash???

rcflyer11 02-07-2005 07:40 AM

RE: profiles

I'm not familiar with the Fancy Foam planes. The SLICK resists crash damage because it is so light. If you get into trouble, you can generally just cut the throttle and let it crash... usually without significant damage.
