Hobby Lobby Cheap Yak?

My brother and I BOTH re-kitted our Foamies tonight.... (We both hit my car within seconds of each other- :)) They may be fixable but it is time to order another cheapo foamie---

So we ordered a couple of those ugly Yak's from Hobby Lobby for $19.90 each :D

Anybody flying these? We fly outdoors and in the wind- [X(]

I am still using the Rimfire, 9x3.8, and 3C 640/ or 850 Packs from my Flatout-

Any thoughts? I like the Shocky-Yak and the Animal, but $50 bucks for a foamie?

Thanks in advance-
James

That should be a good set-up for the Yak...
I'm using the Esskay 400XT w/ a Kokam 640 or TP 900 (3 cells ) and E-Flite 20A. ESC and 10x3.8 APC SF
I have Draganfly servos, and a pico 4ch. rx.

I have flown mine in wind that has other foamys grounded...mine weighs 10.25 w/ the kokam and 10.75 w/ the TP 900

P.S. how'd you BOTH manage to hit the car? Ya flyin' (crashin' ) in formation?!:D

Guys

Those HL Yaks are one of the best values out there. My son and I both run them on the Esskay motor. $19.00 for a plane and $29.00 for a brushless motor. 730 mah TP battery and Bluebird micro servos and 10x3.8 E-prop. I use a 10 Amp Astroflight SP control and GWS Rx.
