Hyperion extra 330l useless wing mounting
Hi, i had jsut recently finished off this model and realised that the wings were only held on by 4 screws, obviously because they are designed to be plug in wings for easy removal, but i never intended in taking them off anyhow after i had installed them, so i took the plane up for take-off, took a turn out to the right away from me, then i saw the plane drop its right wing violently so i decided to bring it back down to safe ground, but the plane had other ideas by havings its right wing snap off on the second turn to bring it in, now considering i could have glued the wings to the fuselage because i was intending on keeping the wings on could have stopped this crash, but.. the thing is, if the wing is designed to be removable, i suggest hyperion should have come up with a better idea? btw, i have only have the kit for a week, built it and flew it, do you think hyperion would do anything about it seeings its there hardware that caused the crash, with me losing about $100 worth of battery and servos too? coz the battery was squished to almost have the length it originally was due to nose dive and my motor is now stuffed aswell.
Ps. the plywood holding the wings on with screws threw them were the parts that snapped |

That is a very sad thing to hear,
i would contact the manufacturer and explain them what happened. If it's a fault in there construction, they should supply you a new plane. Just my thoughts [&:] crazykuki |

Yes i installed the wing joiner, but that snapped right off at where it enters the wing, and just to add i bought it from my local hobby shop
