i have a rimfire22m-1000 on a turmoil flatout what is a good ESC& lipo battery for this plane? thanks .. id like good flight times w/ max 3d capabilities

PHX 10 or the PHX 9 speedcontrols by castle creation or the BL-8 by Electrifly. I'm using the PHX 10 and a three cell 730 battery on the Turmoil and works great.

i had a bl-8 it fried using a 2cell lipo :>(

I'd go with the one up from the BL-8, which I beleive is the BL-12. I have also heard good things about the castle creations escs. The battery is a toss up between run time and 3d ability. You said you wanted max 3d capability, so I'd go with an electrifly 640 mah 3S li-po, or something equivilent.

SS-12 esc and an electrifly 640 mah 3 cell and a 1250 mah 3 cell is what i use for my turmoil. 25+ flight times with the 1250 and around 10 with the 640 but that all depends on the amount of throttle used. Oh amd a 9x3.8 prop

heres what im ordering Great Planes Silver Series 12A Brushless ESC 5V/1A BEC, A Great Planes LiPo 720mAh 11.1V 3S 8C Discharge Molex.. the 640 is .2 oz heavier than the 720..only diff is 640 has a 15c and the 720 has an 8c .. which i dont know what the hell that means ... but :eek: ill order it anyways
