~Help needed~
[&:]I am looking for a good aerobatic 3D electric airplane. I have about 4 hours experience. Is there a airplane
that can withstand most crashes? |
RE: ~Help needed~
Yes. U-Can-Do EP or Yak-54 from Great Planes. These two are called "Flightflex". The foam is bendable and will withstand most small crashes. Here is the link to Tower Hobbies. They sell both of them. Hope this helps. You can fly 3D with these, that is if you want to fly in the 3D field.

Seen too many raw beginners with foamies ... its bad news, because the plane is small and relatively cheap yet so much fun to fly we end up pushing it hard and it will not survive long. Just remember one thing, they are not made to crash. Take your time to learn to fly them and you will save a lot.
A good cheap foamie to fly is the ST Model YAK - stock set up with 3S lipoly and 9x5 prop ... superb. You have to go to the website and see the owner's so fly it! http://www.stmodel.com/ |
