"Blast" EPP hingeline problem

hi guys

Has anyone had a problem with the aileron hinging on the epp "Blast" profile 3d.
A deep "V" has been cut into the solid epp as normal to form a "hingeless hinge" but mine has been cut too close to the outside and the hingeline is starting to fracture after only a few flights. I'm not even using full throw on the ailerons so there is no overstress.
I have a "Blade" with the same hinging method but no problems after two years of 3ding.

The best fix for that I've found is to make a 1" long slit with an exacto knife across the hinge gap and insert a 1" piece of kevlar thread into the slice.

Apply some medium or thin CA (regular non odorless is fine).

You may find 580 gms is a touch heavy, mine which I've only flown about 5 batteries is 550 gms, the CoG is too far forward so rather than cutting a second hole for the battery to find that wasn't in the right place as well thought I tried some weight at the rear and whilst I appreciate the planes going to fly differently as the CoG goes back you could just tell it didn't like the extra weight and I landed it and took the weight off - flew much nicer although the CoG's still too far forward and needs quite a lot of down elevator when inverted.
