Why flatout? I've owned a reflection flatout, it flew pretty good but it was a PAIN to assemble. Anyways, I would consider other foamies also.. If I didnt convince you, I will still give you a good setup.

Rimfire 1000-22m (recommended one)
BL-12amp esc
Thunder power 910mah 3cell 11.1 lipo, gives you 12 min flight time or a 1320mah which gives you maybe even 20 minutes
Any micro receiver, I like 05s from hitec
HS-55 servos

I think the recommended 640mah pack is too small because it gave me only 5 minutes flights..
Good luck with electrics, they take sometime to understand but they are great once you get used to this stuff :)

also, use a 10 x 4.7SLOFLY prop, this is important if you dont want to fry your electrics.

To elkiwi,

I bought and built the turmoil and cap 580 Paul is right they are a pain to build specially if you have not worked with foam and CA before. I replaced the standard motors with brushless motors as recomended and again as Paul advises used large sloprop 10 x 4 plus. Fun to fly ? sure, in your back yard ? absolutely VERY VERY delicate try to fly off grass.
My two bits worth, Good luck.

I had landing gear problems and I've heard of a couple more people who had problems.. IF you fly off grass, I would simply cut the landing gear off and put foam pads ( on the wings about 1") to protect the bottom servo on the wing. IF you fly off hard surface I would not install the landing gear and buy some stronger CF gear. The stock landing gear is very flexible and it will break off eventually ( or in my case, the 2nd flight :D)
