RE: Multiplex AcroMaster
how windy? in comparison how windy can it be for your other foamies? my fancy foam edge flies well in 10 mph winds with 17 mph gusts. its the gusts that can really upset a plane especially on final approach. we have had a lot of days with high winds with lots of swirls. i could use a windy day plane.

RE: Multiplex AcroMaster
This one's kind of a pig, so a little extra inertia won't hurt. Check out the vids on RC groups. Some guys are flying them in about 15mph. I just got the Tribute FX 3D and watched one fly in about 20mph!(performance varies with pilot!) I think I'll save the Tribute for 10mph and lower and anything above I'll break out the Acromaster. We'll see soon. :D

RE: Multiplex AcroMaster
Well the maiden was a success. This plane will definitly punch thru 15+mph winds. For a foamie it flew very well considering todays conditions. On 3s it was great, on 4s it had ludicrous power! Vertical was insane. Didn't get hovering/harriers in, but rolling harriers and tumbling were right on. Got it to sit in one place while in a high alpha rolling harrier, cooool. Overall very pleased. Can't wait for some calmer conditions, will do more testing of course with some video...
