Knife Edge: Plane Pulls to Canopy
 

So I just maidened my Ikarus Yak 54 shockie. I LOVE IT. I did a knife edge and it seemed to pull towad the canopy. I had to constantly give down elevator to keep it straight. Is my plane too nose heavy, or tail heavy?

It is normal that plane needs corrections in KE and I would just try to mix it out with a computer radio..

Ok I have the DX6 so I shouudn't have any problems.

The plane might be NOSE heavy ... when its nose heavy you trim with UP elevator so all else being equal, the plane will pull towards canopy in a KE. Try to fly inverted to see how she flies. If you need to push DOWN elevator then you know what to do. Once you get that sorted out then try to play with the CG to get her nice in a KE, if she can't then you know the plane is not that great and needs to be mixed out. Sort out the CG before starting to mix it out.
