ultimate bipe or reactor bipe?
 

i'm looking at getting my next 3d plane i really like the way bipes fly/float and dart about.was looking at the great planes reactor bipe and also the great planes ultimate bipe. i was wondering if anyone here has experience with either of these planes and any tips,mods or whatever thx

I have the Reactor Bipe, and really enjoy it. The ultimate is a little smaller, but should fly pretty well too. Read the reviews on both, that should solve your dilemma.

[sm=lol.gif]i have read both the reviews lol was just wondering if the reactor is worth 50 more than the ultimate,they both have great reviews but it seems the reactor might be built a bit more sturdier than the ultimate also seems the bigger one would fly a little more stable:D thx

i'm building the Reactor midwing which is fabbed using the same standards as the Ultimate. i just received the Reactor bipe and the amount of prefabrication is night and day difference between the 2.
i also read the review on the Ultimate and i would go for the Reactor bipe if i were you.........it's one of the nicest kits i have seen from Great Planes........the quality alone makes me want another one.

i have also built the GP Super Skybolt, Super Stearman and the Big Stik.
if all their new kits are anything like the Reactor bipe kit, i'll forget about building anything from a kit anymore.
