I dont see anyone using a 2.4 ghz setup in these a/c. I bought a EF YAK 47.5" and have a ar9000 receiver that I want to use. Anyone use this setup yet.

I use them in all my airplanes, a Funtana 100 (RIP), my Extreme Flight 74" gas powered yak, all my choppers (small electric to large nitro), even a 110" scale sailplane

I have it in my EF 74" gas powered YAK as well. I was referring to the threads on the electric airplane forum. I purchased the 47.5" YAK and I want to use the same receiver in that plane. I haven't seen anyone use that setup yet. Just curious.

I really don't understand what you are asking, unless it's use in that specific aircraft? otherwise doesn't matter whether rx. is in electric, gas, glow whatever. In the electric forum I'm sure you will find answers regarding voltage ESC etc.

Completely 2.4 here. Electric and gas are all on Fasst. The 617 and 607 rx weighs only .37 oz and works great in foamies as well as park flyers and I'm using one in a 88.5" EF Yak, 5 HT5955's without an expander. No problems.

Using the Spektrum AR 6000 rcvr in a Twist 40 for the last 2 yrs. No problems.
