I've got the same plane, also have the DLE 20cc.

First prop to use is a Valley View 17x6, for break in. After getting trash in the carb and
rebuilding it 3 times, I replaced the carb with a true Walbro "WT793".

A few more tanks and it should be ready for Spring.

I was able to get the receiver into the fuse, in the center section.

I like the color scheme so well I've copied it for my Ultra Sport build.

First I think you need to decide whether you want to go with a wood prop (light) or a molded type (heavier, slower spool up) The waterfall guy might want the spool up of a wood prop. It's sort of a matter of economics for me. If you fly off of a paved runway the wood props just need one little strike and they are done.

A 17x4W seems too big for a Saito 100. On my 82 I go 14x4W and 15x4W on my 100. Maybe you are running 30% nitro?

What is a 17"B" and 19"B" prop?

OP, how do you like your Aerobeez profile? Where did you get it, have a link? I looks like an updated model to me but I'm not sure. It has the balance type of ailerons if you look at the tips. Didn't early ones have a weak engine mount area. Fixed now? Thanks. Any major difference between that and the Redwing SBach?

Yes, a 10 pitch sounds like a bad idea for any 3D profile type plane.

Valley View has their own brand of props now? I see they have a new 21cc engine in stock. Dunno if it puts out any more power but has a small and angled plug I think for in-cowls.

Try the XR props from Hobbyking some people say they are rebranded Xoars, I have used them and they are nicely machined

Redwing RC has some nice 65" profiles. They have a Yak, Sbach and a new Extra 330 coming soon, maybe this month.
Also they have a line of props in both Beachwood and Carbon Fiber. Great customer support.
