Default Pushrod question

I got a hardware package for a Aeroworks 31% Edge 540T and was wondering since the package came with 4-40 Ball Links for the Ailerons, Rudder, and Elevator and it came with pushrods that were threaded on one end witha clevis for the other side that this may cause interference. I will be using the aluminum servo tops and thought that metal to metal would be a big no no on a Gas Engine plane and that this could cost me a plane. Should I thread the otherside of the pushrod and buy ball links for that side also or what?

Thanks a lot guys,

MAV
