How can I tell if I have the revised wing or the recalled one? I bought mine NIB from some guy on Ebay. The wings plastic bag has the serial# SW3011

ther is QC stamp on the inside of one of the wing halves where they join together. For the new wing

Both wing halves have a red QC stamp and both have a serial# of 0230114030. So does this mean I have the revised version?

Did you get two different wing joiners? Someone told me the revised kits come with an extra joiner made of heavier wood.

The red stamp means it is the newer wing.

It came with only one joiner, but it's pretty solid, stiff, and heavy. Was that the probem with the first version is the middle joiner? The wood where you put epoxy to kiss the two wings seems pretty soft balsa, so I soaked it with thin CA to make it hard. I never had a plane with this soft of a wood especially where the wings join.

The problem was the poor quality of the wood used for the spars. The only difference between the old and new wings is the quality of the wood. Im still flying my original wing. It had been beefed up. Im not too sure I want to try the new wing I have..this one seems to be fine. but I will tell you the new wind comes out heavier by 2.0 oz then my original beefed up one so they did make a difference between the 2.

I am still waiting for decals for the new wing before I use it. I think Horizon have forgotten my request or they are not able to get the decals.

Ok, just called Horizon and they said it should have the red qc stamp in the servo tray or the middle of the wing. So I guess I'm ok. Now time to put her in some extreme parachute maneuver and see if she'll hold.

What was wrong with the old wings? How do you guys like your edge?

Break in flight...only a few..not all old ones are bad..they had some bad wood..
