Best 3D Plane for Saito 1.50
#1

I've got a sweet running Saito 1.50 just sitting around. I want to get a really good 3D plane that won't fall apart. And I don't want to re-glue every joint in an ARF. I was thinking of using it in a 90 Funtana but there have been too many threads about structural problems of the plane. Any suggestions?

What can you find that weighs about 9 pounds with the Saito 1.50 and still keep a decent wing loading? That would be my criteria. I have an old Aeroworks 300L profile partially bilt, but I am projecting 10 pounds or more. I am thinking of clipping the wings to the optional 72 inches to save a little weight. Good luck.

I have just ordered the Extreme Flight YAK 54 it should make an awsome combo with the saito 150. I currently have it in a goldberg sukhoi that weighs 11 pounds 2 oz and it has great vertical performance. Should be a rocket on a 9 pound plane

Another vote for the EF Yak. I have a Saito 1.50 in mine and it is a great combination. Plane construction is one of the best I have seen, plus the plane flies extremely good also. This is the first plane I have owned, that when I lose it, I will replace it with the same one.
