Airfoilz Yak 54 40" Video
Just wanted to post a pic of my new Yak 40" weights 16.5oz RTF. The wing is HOLLOW and very stiff, the plane is EPP foam and Depron constructed. Been flying it with a Hacker 20-20L and a TP 1350 and Hitec 55 servos. Servo wires are in the fuse so no hanging servo wires dangling and all servos get screwed in not glued.

Looks great! Can't wait for mine as it's in the mail! I'll definitley get a full review going.
AFPD version will be done in about 72 hours or less. Edge created within a few days after that.

I've been looking at this plane too, looks sweet! I've been trying to decide between this one and Copperhead Yak. I may have to go with this.

Hi Scott, long time since the EF threads...
I don't think you'd be dissapointed with the Airfoilz... I really like mine and the weight is great.

It has been a long time. How have you been doing? I hope you've done well the last few months.
I was thinking the weight was better then the Copperhead Yak, but I just wanted to make sure. The Copperhead Yak's are coming in about 19-22 ounces. What did your weight come in at? What about flex, is there any?
Thanks again,
Scott[8D]

16.85 all up with gear and TP1320... Bigger plane too!
While it's resilient enough for plopping on the ground... it's not EPP and therefore you won't want to pound it...
Flex? basically none I can tell and it's a real easy build.
