I have a CRRC PRO 26cc gasser and I was wondering if it would be a good match for the X100? Any thoughts?

I installed a DLE 30 on my X100 and had to remove it after 2 flights because of the reasons stated above plus the insane power of the dle 30 was unmanageable. My 2 cents.

RE: Funtana X100
Just received a well used X100. Will need some repairs and reworking, but the frame itself is solid. Needs to be recovered. The stab supports need to be redone. Ownt know how to do this until I get under the covering to see whats there. Any suggestions?
Does anyone have a new X100 cowl that you might want to sell? Would anyone know if the cowl for the Funtana 125 would fit on the X100?

RE: Funtana X100
I built my X100 about 5 years ago. It was hanging in my garage until 3 days ago. I can't believe i waited soooo long to fly this thing. Just awesome. CG is at 6 3/8" and it lands better than a trainer.

RE: Funtana X100
can anyone help source replacement landing gear for the x100?
I know the funtana 125 landing gear will fit, but H9 doesn't have stock till mid november.
Anyone know which gear from HobbyKing will work?
Thanks!

RE: Funtana X100
I don't know about Hobby King but I used the GraphTech landing gear and it has functioned
perfectly.

This may be an updated version than the one I have but I am sure it will fulfill
your needs.

RE: Funtana X100
checked out the site earlier and they have it listed as back-ordered right now. I sent them an email to see how long till more stock is brought in/created.

NOREPLY...JUST DATA
I have a Futana X100 that I bought used as a fix-it plane. I am getting it back in shape. I have no manual and would like to get the CG point and where it is measured from. Also I have noticed a lot of broken Funtana,s that seem to have broke in about the same area. I am using lite-ply (1/8 inch)in my last brace area. It will have a piece of 1/4 ply along the landing gear block too. Below is a couple of phots of the template to get the lite ply piece made. Capt,n

RE: Funtana X100
right from the manual: (you can download it from H9's website)
The recommended Center of Gravity (CG) location for the FuntanaX 100 is 6
3/8"–6 3/4" (162mm–171mm) behind the leading edge of the wing against the fuselage.Note
: The CG can also be measured at the wing tip. This measurement is 3 1/8"–3 1/2" (79mm–89mm) behind the leading edge of the wing.

Akito1, For ony having done 5 postings...you sure did a good job of replying with good data. Take care...and it is good to see you with RCU. I hang out in the Gas engine, engine conversions and the ARF forums. Lot too choose from. Enjoy. Capt,n

RE: Funtana X100
Well I got the repairs done a couple of days ago on my Funtana X100. This eve I flew it for the first time. It only needed about 1-2 clicks of up trim and it seems to fly nice. I do need to set the dual rates better. May fly it tomorrow if weater permits.Best Regards,Capt,n

RE: Funtana X100
UPDATE I got the Funtana 100X together and made 2 flights. Seems to fly good as ever. Did not need any trim from previous settings. I hope I can get as many hours flying it as it took fixing the creature!!!!!!!!!!!! Best Regards Capt,n
