How would this bird fly with a saito fa115 or fs110a. Have both engines laying around.

Hi RWIJNHOV, I had a x100 and my engine was a "saito FA125 and was just right for the plane, I know taht one of my friend had it too and he try a saito 100 and he told me that it miss a bit of power. So, I presume that a 110 120 would do the job either Hop this help you making a mind,,( sorry for my english) sincerly yours aviateur2

Hi guys. I know this post is old, I just want to add a little input to it. I have been a mechanic all my life, now retired. What it looks like here, is that the upper end of the rod has froze on the wrist pin ( lack of lubrication). Or possible a too lean mixture, also causing lack of lube. Those rods don't just 'break'. It is hard to tell from these few pictures, but I am sorry you lost the motor. I am a firm believer in being on the high side on lube content, as these little engines, do an amazing amount of work, and we ask a lot of them. I also want to say that four strokes do not get a lot of lube to the bottom end! I hope this helps someone. Happy trails, and blue sky to you.
