Default which is better at 3d

i'm looking between two 3d airplanes to get. this would be my first 1/4 scale plane and i would like to know which would be a better performer. The choice is between the GP extra 300s gene soucy and the wild hare 73" edge540T. Any suggestions would be great thanks

Dave I was told the GP Patty Wagstaf Extra is better than the Soucy. I have not flown both though. Can't comment on the WH.

GP Patty and Gene are heavy planes if you wanna talk about 3D. The Wild Hare will be a better plane.

Wing Area

Gene - 1048 sq inch
WH - 1090 sq inch

AUW

Gene - 12-13.5 lbs
WH - 11-11.5 lbs

Wing loading

Gene - 26-30 oz
WH - 23-24 oz

Hangar 9 27% Extra 260, with a Moki 1.80 or Moki 210. Great first large scale.

Either the WH or the H9, own one, seen the other in flesh, both well built and lighter than the GP

I vote for the hangar 9 260 for a true 1/4 scale. the wh edge is on the small side but a excellent flier also. The gp soucy is a older model and on the heavy side. The yak or cap are better choices if your looking at a gp planes.

This wasn't a choice but if you are looking for 3D in a similar size plane, take a look at the Ultra RC Giles. A little larger in wing area and lighter in weight. I know a guy who has one and it is a 3D machine.
