I just put one together. I would not by another--Hinges are pinned and not glued on my kit wood soft white balsa ---very little glue on wood joints poped cross braces out by holding fuse. The wing hold down block and wing bolt angle not lined up both facing forward had to break off and realine. Slot for hinge 1/8 by 1/2 they use a Dubro like hinge just floats around in slot. Some of the pins do not go through the hinge they have no point on them. Bolts for wing sloppy fit in tee nuts. tee nuts are plastic hardware they give is the worst I've ever seen. Read some of the other threads on Seaqull models to see other problems

I just bought one at LHS (Razzle). I pulled the plane out at LHS to check it over. Plane looks good, very light, and not one to crash....... :spinnyeye . I will be putting a Saito 100 on it, this should take it to the moon! The plane calls for 60-100 size, flying weight should be in the 6-6.5 pound range.
I am looking for servo's, any suggestions? Looking at the HS-77BB for the two wings and two elevator halves. The HS-77's have 61oz.in and .18speed at 4.8 volts. Weight is like 1.23oz. Not real sure about rudder. How much torque/speed do you think will be needed? The control surfaces are pretty large! I was thinking of a servo with over 100 oz.in and sub .20 speed. Maybe the Hitec 5625????????
Thanks for any input,
EdMan

Anthony,
What engine are you using? I would like to hear a flight report on this plane when you get a chance!
I ended up going with HS-77BB on the ailerons & elevator, and a 5625 on the rudder. I may have it ready by Sunday, we'll see.

I got a chance to fly my Razzle today. Pretty nice flier. I only got about 3 flight and my pressure fitting on my Saito's muffler stripped and blew off.
I'll get it fixed and have it up again soon. The planes needs some right thrust! I will also move the CG back some. Over all, I'm happy with it so far.

Razzle and 3D
I only got 3 flights, the 3rd was cut very short due to the stripped pressure fitting. Most the flight time was getting a feel for the plane. Hovering, I think the Razzle will hover pretty well once I move the CG back and give it more right thrust. Hovering, it was pulling alittle left (due to thrust issue), so I was fighting that with rudder. I had the CG right at the center point of the recommended point, 4.5" back from leading edge. Recommended is 4.25-4.75" back. It looks like I may have to add some lead to the tail, my RX pack is as far back as I can get it. In fact, I made a bracket to hold the battery pack just behind the blind nuts for the nylon wing bolts. I used some light servo's for the tail as I thought I'd be tail heavy......wrong. I only tried a waterfall once or twice, not very tight. I had programed some mixes to try on the 3rd flight, but didn't get a chance to try them out......
With the mixes, waterfalls should tighten up. I had alittle pitch and roll on knife edge. Slow flight is very slow and steady, invert is solid. The airfoil is pretty thick. I will make a few adjustments, and fix the pressure fitting on the muffler and get her up again soon. I think the Razzle will be a fun plane thats capable of some good 3D.

I got to fly mine on Saturday. It flies really sweet for the one and a quarter flights I got. It dead-sticked shortly after takeoff on the second flight so I got to see the glide rate. It floats like a sailplane. I was very surprised I made it back to the runway. I did not have a chance to try any tricks. I just trimmed it out and checked stall, which is really sweet. It just mushes over straight ahead.
EdMan: I have a GMS .76 2-stroke on it. It has plenty of power swinging a 14-5 prop. I think the 100 might be a bit much, especially since you are having to add lead to the tail. Of course if I had a 100 I would put it on there too
Here are my battery and Rx locations.
