Default Metal hinges on Flip3D...Please help

Uh, I just put one of the ailerons on the flip wing and there is a 1/16" gap. Is this just what happends with metal hinges or do I need to pull the aileron out right now before the epoxy sets up?

Please help!!!

You can seal the gap with tape if needed, however I threw the metal ones in the trash and just used CA hinges.

You can still pin the CA hinges, you must do it on the rudder.

I used the metal hinges. I cut a recess in the wing trailing edge and aileron leading edge for the pin part of the hinge to fit in so there would not be a gap.
If you already have one aileron in place, I would just seal the gap as YNOT suggested and not worry about a small gap. Make the other aileron match the first one, and then maybe cut a recess in the elevators and see if that works better.

Cool, thanks a lot. Before it all dried, I cut out the wood next to the pin to make it fit closer and then I did it for the other one too.
I'll probably seal all the hinge lines anyway just to be safe.
Now I just have to decide on an engine.

Thanks, Kris.
