We used 18X10[:@] , 18X8 was a bit better
now we are thinking about instaling a 18X6 or 20X6

I think the 160 has plenty of pullout...
I am asuming that they want a prop that will alow them to slow it down a bit and be torquey down low, without having to get into the rev's of the engine's torque curve. The 20 wont clear the ground.
I bought a Graphtech landing gear.It is very beefy and much taller than the stock one.You guys may need to run one of those if you havent switched already. The stock gear will have to be treated with care.

Well I wasn't sure about what he was wanting but i didn't think he would need more vertical either as my friends funtana will hover at half throttle with a saito 125.

I agree with the lighter motors,I have a 160 in an EF Yak 54,it is a monster for power,I'd never put it in the F90 either, but they are already flying it...[X(]
On the landing gear..my comment was for the X100,the old version is aluminum,so it may hold up .

I have the x100 with a 160fx. Awsome combo, wasnt sure before I did it but very happy in the end. Bought the plane used and it was set up for this. Get an APC 18x6 W. Will still produce enough speed to tear your plane apart and pulls like you wont believe. Mine will easily hover at 1/4 throttle and I cant help but chuckle every time I punch out. The nice thing about the wide blade prop is its a very good brake, at idle your down lines dont get to fast and the plane will slow down in a hurry, so remember that when landing or you will be realy sad. Good luck guys and enjoy. dave
