Default Covering Scheme for a beginner

I am working on covering for the first time. My new plane is a Great Planes Tracer. (Now I like the building as much as or more that flying!) As I am far from an artist, I am trying to use a simple covering scheme. What I am planning to do is have the top of the plane (turtle deck) be a dark green and the rest of the fuse be while. I am thinking the wings will be all white on top, and white on bottom with two 4-inch squares (diamonds) on each side. As this will be my first plane past my trainer, I will be flying high. (two mistakes high) Does this sound like a farily fisable color scheme. (I am not looking for form...only function). Any other ideas for a SIMPLE scheme?
