I have a Lanier Cap 232 with a G62 engine, and I'm wondering what everyone's recomendation for a prop for this airplane would be. I'd like to have good vertical performance, and good forward speed, although with that engine, I don't think speed will be a problem. The airplane weighs 17 pounds without fuel, servos, reciever, or battery. This is my first gasser and I guess I don't know how to prop the things. Any recomendations on prop brands? I'd like to spend in the $20 range per prop, so don't get exotic please
Does anyone have any setup recomendations for this airplane? I got the airplane used and it doesn't have an instruction manual, so I don't even know the control throws. Thanks a lot.

I have used a 20/8-14 with best results. This is a 20" diameter with 8" root pitch and 14" tip pitch. The G-62 really likes this prop for an aerobatic model. Zinger makes these. Bill // Moderaror
