RE: Seagull's HARRIER 90,WHICH SERVOS & ENGINE

I put 635 hb hitec's on ailerons, 645 mg on ele and rudder mine, never have had a complaint. i do run them on 6v. The rudder does like the torque of 645. tried the 635 and could feel it blow back, switched to a 645 and it brought the rudder response to life.
power is up to you, i powered mine with a saito 100 and it does what ever ya want to do.
Its a fun plane you will like it alot.
Beef up the firewall, i pinned and glassed mine after 5 flights because it came loose. and glue a couple extra runners on the hatch, hatch is kinda weak right in front of the canopy.
balanced with the battery just behind the wing tube with that set up.

Servos: Futaba 3305, 3010, Hitec 475 /485, 645MG. Anything Hi torque basically and preferable with metal gears standard servo

Engine: 2C: 75AX, 95AX
4C: FS91SII

Remenber engine is inverted mounted. Resist overpowering and overspeeding the airplane. It is built very fragile

OK I GOT IT
91VR-DF is best for for deducted units

i think 95AX is the best for seagulls harrier 90 .

but one thing is still there in my mind is, i have heard that for 3d flying we need pumped engines, sois that correct?

Pumped engines help in that pump keeps the flow to the engine remains constant no matter what the attitude of the airplane and fuel level in tank. However, the way I see it, the pump is another piece of equipment that may fail or get damaged. Even without the pump, the engine will remain reliable if its setup and run-in properly. The pump just becomes another thing to worry about

When you get your harrier finished, will you PLEASE video it doing a harrier??? The one and only review of the "Harrier" never mentioned how or if it would harrier.

Thanks much,

JW

RCGroups has a Seagull Harrier review (I think). You can also google it. When I was considering taking that airplane I had read up a lot. Ultimately saw too many problems and moved on
