HELP WITH MOTOR!!
1 Attachment(s)
Ok so im new to the out runner motors for the indoor planes.
My problem is that I need to slide that silver shaft so it goes out on the front where my prop adapter will hold on to it. But it seems like they have a little latch on it kinda like a pinching lock that can pop off but I am having such a hard time to get it off. Any ideas? Also how do I put that prop adapter on? When the prop spins it seems like it wants to come off???!! Help lol |

RE: HELP WITH MOTOR!!
I have not used that style motor before but it appears the prop adapter slides over the prop shaft an is secured somehow. It may be a set screw or clip. It is hard to tell from the pictures. I would also reccomend asking this in the electric forums.

RE: HELP WITH MOTOR!!
It looks like you need to take off that C-clip that hold the shaft in place and drive the shaft so it protrudes from the front of the motor. At that point you will be able to either re-use that same C-clip if you did not damage it or just add a new one to hold the shaft back in place. Then you will be able to either use the adapter that is shown in the picture or use the prop-saver.
