I guess we will have to agree to disagree.
Sounds good!

But if you have been successfully flying a Chinn Yak ARF with a ST 51 and a tuned pipe on 4 cell NiCd/NiMH batteries with Spektrum receivers and digital servos, then consider this to be an official apology.

Good news guys. I maidened the chin yak today in 15 mph winds no less and she came out awesome. a little flutter in the rudder but nothing to be concerned about. I set it up so well that I had minimal trim adjustments during flight. I was extremely nervous but I had to get it up in the air before I went back off shore. I couldn't go another two weeks thinking about it after I put it together and spent the money. Nothing fancy. Just some left turns and rolls. The OS ran beautifully. I couldn't have asked for a better performing engine and I don't think I will be buying anything differant in the future for my nitro powerplants. I never went to high rates. I stayed on low rates that were only at 30% throw. this sucker changed direction so well that It seems that you could fly this plane in a 10 by 10 square foot box with no problem. I can't wait to get it out on a day that is calm after I get comfortable with it.

Congratulations on the successful test flight!

You've got a good plane, a good engine, and a good setup that is capable of taking you deep into the world of 3D flying. You're going to love it!

Good to hear. Once you get used to the high rates, you'll rarely use them.

Here's a video of Dave and his CY (it'll take a minute or two to load)
